Board of Directors, Association of Former Intelligence Officers

Mr. Jordan began his government service in the U.S. Army from 1977-1982 as a Russian Translator. In 1983, he entered government service as a Department of Defense civilian. During his over 40-year career, Mr. Jordan served in various organizational leadership and senior staff management positions within the DoD, FBI, CIA, and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. In 2002, he was seconded to Capitol Hill, where he served as a Professional Staff Member for the House and Senate Intelligence committees investigating the causes behind the 9/11 attacks. As a member of the Senior Executive Service for 17 years, he retired from government service in 2021 as the Treasury Department’s Deputy Assistant Secretary for Intelligence Community Integration.

He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Former Intelligence Officers and a consultant for Big Mountain Consulting. He is a group fitness instructor in Annapolis and has been a Team Lead Volunteer with the Md. Department of Corrections since 1988. He has a B.A. in Russian Studies from the U of Md., an M.A. in Theology from St. Mary's Seminary in Baltimore and is a Certified Diversity Executive. He lives with his wife Vicki in Gambrills, Maryland. Their daughter, Kelly, lives in Kansas City, Kansas with her husband and three sons.
